Martina Alice Tolotti is a Berlin based architect and photographer born in Milan. She has studied at Politecnico di Milano in Italy, at Bauhaus Universität in Germany and at University of Cape Town in South Africa; now she holds a Master of Science in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano where she graduated in 2016.
During her studies she started to photograph due to a need of an expansion and analytical tool to distill reality.
Her work started with portraitures and architecture series, and is now expanding to reportage while investigating the liasons between Human / Nature, Built / Wild, Organic /Designed.
She shoot with a basic equipment: a Nikon D90 and an Olympus M1 with a 35mm fixed and b/n films.
